Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare have been a large part of the engine running the sound of reggae for decades. They have both played, apart and together, on innumerable songs. As producers they have amassed an amazing amount of hit singles. They are a core component of the sub-genre dub. Deft at the studio and electronics, they have crossed over into pop, hiphop, art rock and electronic music.
